Product Range
Tie Bars with rolled threads are supplied in the full range
of sizes between M39 to M105. All threading work is in accordance
with BS3643. Cut threads can also be supplied, and details
are available upon request. Contact us for further information.
Standard material grades are shown below and alternative
grades are available to order. Our extensive stock ensures
that most sizes can be supplied with minimal delay.

The Normanby Marine tie bar system is based on the internationally
recognised metric thread system. All fittings are designed
to provide a strength equal to or better than the parent bar.
Articulated joints may be required in applications where
there is likely to be a significant settlement of the fill
material and they should be situated as close to the pile
wall as practicable. The articulated joints will then remove
the induced bending moment and reduce the shear force created
by the settlement of the fill. Articulated joints are available
fabricated complete and ready to use on site.
