All Tie Bars are manufactured to a quality assurance system
approved to ISO 9001:2000.
Product Range
Tie Bars with rolled threads are supplied in the full range
of sizes between M42 and M105, with smaller sizes available
upon request. All threading work is in accordance with BS3643.
Our standard material grade NM17 is shown below and we are
happy to offer that as an alternative to lesser grades. Our
extensive stock ensures that most sizes can be supplied with
minimal delay.

The Normanby Marine tie bar system is based on the internationally
recognised metric thread system. All fittings are designed
to provide a strength equal to or better than the parent bar.
Where there is likely to be a significant settlement of
the fill material, articulated joints may be required. The
articulated joints will remove the induced bending moment
and reduce the shear force created by the settlement of the
fill. Articulated joints are available fabricated complete
and ready to use on site.
